The purpose of this web site is to help students learn about poetry. It will act as a supplement to class materials in meeting objectives such as understanding different poetic terminologies and identifying different forms of poetry.
This site has been designed by L. Durbin for Ms. Hall’s 5th grade classroom at Harrington Elementary School in Lexington, Massachusetts. I am a student at Boston University studying English Literature in the College of Arts and Sciences and English Education in the School of Education. This site is a requirement for the course ED101, which contributes to satisfying the Massachusetts licensing requirements for coursework in Educational Technology.
